My Story
From Layoff to Late Nights in the Kitchen.
After a layoff from the tech world, I found myself in the kitchen more than anywhere else — butter in the pan, eggs from the backyard coop.
One batch turned into tweaks. Tweaks turned into standards, and standards into obsession.
I couldn’t settle for average texture. I wanted edges with structure. Centers with chew. Deep brown butter flavor — not just sweet for the sake of sweet.
Somewhere along the way, it stopped being therapy
and started being intentional. I didn’t just want to bake cookies.
But wanted to build my version of the perfect one.
Warm. Rich. Chewy. Worth It.
